CPAP machines, while smart, are a deadend from a revenue perspective. Once the customer purchases (or rents) themachine, that's it. No more income. Of course, customers may buy new masks.However, in reality, once a customer has a suitable and effective product, theydo not need to make further expenditures on ResMed’s products. ResMed'sdevelopment has always been about finding new customers for its machines.Acquiring new customers is expensive.
That said, there is a huge potentialmarket for ResMed. ResMed can always spend money to find new customers who needto blow air up their nose.
However, there is always a price. Andthe stock got to a point which is relatively cheap, compared to historical valuations.
