Good point. But it would matter whether the options are european or american. (European can only be exercised at Expiry, American can be exercised Always)
They would have to be European style as the hurdle for the bonus is based off that exact date and time. So releasing information pre that will be in her best interest to avoid that conflict.
But nevertheless that date is something to look at and what she does. Only about 9 more trading days for the announcement so she can avoid that conflict.
