Shorts still increasing. They seem convinced they can still make money by selling at the current share price, if you can believe ASIC's latest figures.
As at 13 November, ASIC says there are 13,796,097 outstanding WBT shares sold short, which is 7.34% of shares issued. That is an increase of 826,950 shares sold short on a day when the total volume was recorded as 1,034,938.
What the heck this has to do with either price discovery or provision of liquidity is a complete mystery to anyone other than the parasitic short selling perpetrators and their accomplices who lend them the shares of hard working investors.
May there be a pox on all their houses.
