Every 6-12 months they combine the 2 most prevalent strains to cook up some juice for the yearly consumption but they have never called it a vaccine and they’ve never not changed the mix.

The scientists who take care of the flu shots are much more professional than the way you talk about them as if the flu vaccine is mixed by a bunch of people who have not got a clue what they are doing.
The flu shot is about 40% to 60% effective in most of the population.
