It was a very reassuring performance by Scott.
He showed up at 2am in the morning, gave a good overview of the operations, and answered questions in a clear and concise manner.
I was most impressed by his forthrightness in terms of discussing the achievements as well as challenges. It's all too easy for a (young) MD to hide behind flashy 'discoveries' without talking about the problems. This not only reveals he wants to do things "properly" but also that we, as small investors, will get accurate information in the future.
The news may not be what many of us were hoping (in terms of a categorical oil discovery), but I think a lot of what we've learnt today, both about the assets as well as management, augers well for the future.
