With all the problems with this hole, I still think CHDT is still a feasible option. No issues with ledges, no differential sticking, and can be run on wire easy enough. So what if can only get 6 samples per run, and need to make an extra couple of runs.
One consideration would be as follows;-
- Drill sidetrack to TD.
- Run basic logging suite.... skip SWC and MDT that are likely to get stuck in an openhole.
- Run & Cement 7" Liner
- Run CBL
- Run CHDT
- Run VSP
