The point is the government makes people THINK what is important by deciding what info to release to skew the narrative, Australians don't know 99% of what is going on in the military and foreign affairs behind close doors, and government deliberately release selected info to skew the agenda.

The media then puts these on front paper in big bold font and colourful photos, and suddenly ignorant bogans who never travelled or lived outside Australia think that must be what's important in the world right now and what everyone's talking about and gets all hypes up.
