You need to make a little bit more work to find out the facts, and pay attention to the unit of money as AUD and USD.
See the below table given on PLS's Sept.2023 quarterly report on Oct.26.
PLS's cash cost is AU$ 1,004 (CIF) or US$ 658.
And that is for 5.3% spod concentrate.
LTR's cash cost is AUD 650 or USD 426 for SC6 spod concentrate.
The price difference ratio between 5.3% and 6% spod is SC6 is 60%-70% dearer than 5.3%. (In the same period when PLS was selling 5.3% spod at approx. US$2,200, IGO was selling Greenbushes's SC6 at US$3,700. See IGO's sept. Quarter report for ref.)
PLS is a high cost producer. That's one of the reasons it's being shorted so much, because the shorters think that when the spod price comes to US$1300 then PLS will not be making much profit. I don't think it will come down that much
