Lowered mud weight will help with differential sticking and any borehole deterioration similar to what was going on in M1.
The ledging due to washing out of coals....effectiveness of lower mud weight in fixing this issue depends on the mechanism by which the coals are washing out. Running a wireline tool on wireline rather than TLC means you have a bit more opportunity to work the tools through an ledges....the tool can turn and tilt when its on wireline. A shorten tool string can also help.
