I wasn't implying that he would sell short term.
Hypothetically flogging these off at 20c at the end of next year (as you suggest) for $28.5m is a hell of a return on his $2.3m investment.
I'd be wanting my 50% CGT discount on that every day of the week.
FYI I came here with funds from WC8 (although should have stayed longer!) and hold a solid chunk of OAs myself
