Another $0.25 down, now about $1.25 and some franking credtis below the firm cash offer of Brookfield. ORG was trading <$7 before the offer. I see all kinds of optimistic comments, some with price targets like $12 in a year or so. If there was any broad view that something like that is even remotely possible, we would see buoyancy in the price, not ORG down another 3% in a market that went up modestly. This fails, and we are back to <$7, and depending on capital raising, reduced dividends, etc - maybe well less than $7.
It is a rare event to see shareholders cheering for the destruction of value, like some on this board.
