why is it sickening?

There are a lot of things about Thai culture when I lived in the North of Thailand. There's quite a bit I don't like about the culture. However, what I mostly learned was that I didn't know much at all about it. Next thing I learned was that the relationships between Thai women and Western men was not at all what I thought an that what most of us think is about a millimetre out of a metre of the whole story.

Much of our 'sickening' comes from isms ----------- ageism for a start - many people look at old men with young women and think yuk.

It becomes educational when one hears 'why' young Thai women actually prefer some types of men - fat, white, Western men

when one learns why - some of the 'sickening' disappears. But, to discuss it in depth would take a lot of posts and words.
