I wonder if the continual working of the cable while on station may not be contribution to the problem as the wireline cable works a path into the filter cake. A SLB guy I spoke to said while this was the practice with RDT this was not normal with the MDT as the MDT auto retracts if there is a power loss and you would not want to have slack cable in that event.
