I don't buy gold bars @TheSpaniard it's just not my thing.

But yes agree the perma bear has been 100% wrong on the gold price since at least 2015 that I can think of with evidence.

Personally, I like property (I don't like the idea of paying someone else's mortgage off) and having a diversified equity portfolio.

But im not dogmatic in thinking one is better than the other and im not delusional in proclaiming that any are a sure bet they all carry some form of risk.

Many different factors can influence the outcome of an investment and its all just paper gains or losses until you sell the place or close out the equity position.
