"... This ugly top left bottom right looking chart - With over 80% of the shareholder value wiped since listing..." is as accurate as the past and failed 3 times to predict a 30-40% spike in the past few weeks.
If you just invest based on charts alone you either never or always buy or will always sit on the sidelines watching as on any given day the chart predicts either up, staying the same or down.
Today's anns was never meant to be a game changer, more a confirmation that CHM's next gen CAR-T 1101, now called CHM1301 can be used to treat other SOLID cancers too. The big announcements recently were the CHM 1101 GMB Ph1 read out and the CDH 17 IND. 2 years ago those would have taken the sp to $1. These days any non-income tech stock is valued at ZERO regardless of asset-development and cash at hand.
Regardless of how many shares will be issued and cash received the EV would be less than $ 10m if the sp stays at the 3c level. But as soon as CHM turns the current "quick" Ph1b into a pivotal / registrational trial - already foreshadowed by the FDA - the big guys will notice and trying to get their hands on it. At this stage nobody can beat CHM when it comes to GBM treatments and that alone is worth more than just AUD 10m.
Did I mention that CHM and IMU are the only ASX listed companies having clinical trials underway using different types of CAR-T. And do you know that CHM's CEO has been among the few scientists in the world who participated developing CD 19 - CAR-Ts?
