The main impression I got from today's presentation from Coby regarding the next significant piece of news from WBT was the same one I formed from hearing his Sydney talk, namely the signing with one or two new foundries (slides 21 & 22). I think its worth noting that the next foundry engagements that are reported by WBT will represent number #4 and number #5, after Skywater, Global Foundry and DB HiTek. I wonder how many foundry signings will be needed to convince some of the finger-waggers and hand-wringers that occasionally post here, that WBT are actually the real deal, have a world-class technology, and that every foundry signing actually represents a significant de-risking milestone. There will be some naysayers, including perhaps some big insto investors, that will only accept that WBT is making progress when they start to report substantial revenues. It will be interesting to see how the market reacts to these next foundry signings.
