I agree there is some covering happening.
I dont know about money flow but yesterday's net vol was selling. Whether that is from the shorters who will likely be trying to control any rise in the sp or buyers I dont know.
The data shows some covering has been ongoing since the 1st of Nov but borrowings continued to rise before peaking on the 15th at around 147 million & dropping to around 133 ill on the 21st
I am a bit skeptical that the campaign is over with though given the still very large amount of borrowed stock & the evidence of consistent non-reporting shorts dating back to when the push down really took off back in Mar.
I would think & expect that there are non-reported shorts happening daily & with open positions slowly starting to decrease these would not necessarily show up. The balance of borrowed & open positions imo will continue to be used to control things while any covering is managed as necessary.
I see a similarity between the trading on the 21 - 22nd as to that on the 15 - 16th last week showing in the net by / sell volume numbers & a similar mirroring effect on the daily candles. If that continues then maybe today will be a down day with shorts again leading the charge.
I doubt whether the BEOT will have any trouble controlling any recovery while taking profits as they close out their positions.
