Say I have 2 million shares. I wait for the morning high then I short with 1 million shares (say at 3.59). The smallholders panic, then drive the price even lower. Say now the asking price is 3.52
Then I park the remainder 500k to 1million shares to sell at 3.55, forcing others to believe the counter is doomed. They then start selling at whatever price they can get.
.... and I wait there at 3.51/3.52 and fish at the bottom
