Just trying to make the point that you don't need to pick exact highs or lows and shouldn't expect to be able to do so, but can still do well over the long term regardless.
The other point is not to expect the market to be "right" when a stock is rising after a long rally or still falling after a deep correction.
How do you even define what "the market " believes near the peak or the low? Is the market defined by the buyers or the sellers? For every share sold, a share is bought. Who is right and who is wrong? Isn't the market made up of both the buyers and sellers?
