Honestly it’s not that hard.
Firstly of course he can’t say what pharma think of it. Those conversations are confidential obviously. And you would (should) know that.
As for the commercial viability I don’t see how you can’t understand it? It’s pretty simple.
RAC weren’t about to stop all plans in hope that they could develop RC220. Imagine what shareholders would say to that?! On a maybe.
Thankfully they were able to navigate the complex task of reformulating the drug and increasing the upside from here. So now why continue spending time and money on the old formulation now you know the new one works?!
Honestly don’t think it could be any clearer.
