“Any ideas on what 20,000 litres of AnteoX is likely to sell for?”
No idea Nashezz, but what we do know is 20,000 litres is enough for approx 7,000 Tesla model Y, so roughly 3 litres per vehicle.
Previous memories had me calculate anteobind at around $70,000 per litre, but each application only needed millilitres to work.
Obviously with 3 litres required that can’t be the cost of Anteo X.
The cost of a Tesla model S battery is reported at around $12,000.
If we could manage to halve that cost through reduction in material costs and overall size for the same output, then to me it would be worth $1000 per vehicle, so around $300 per litre.
Therefore 20,000 L x $300 = $6 million.
At full capacity of the Aus plant, that makes $24m.
The numbers are only a stab in the dark, but seems to make sense to me as I have long pondered on the same question.
To get to $1b income as per the AGM presentation, we would need to be in around 3 million cars (or the equivalent in batteries in other electronic devices) which doesn’t seem too wild for the purpose of guesstimating.
But $24m would be a nice start.
As per David’s 2% of the 1b comment, at the above calcs, that works out at around 70,000 litres, so within our pilot plant capacity.
Happy for anyone to throw thoughts at this or to pick holes in it.
