Hmmm.. very strong, perhaps, but.. the upfront capex is huge.
Potentially why PRU is not wanting to own it all (still cannot discount a full bid, but... just seems different to PRUs earlier corporate actions), after their foray into Sudan has met such a frustrating outcome (perhaps they will try and J/V that too over time?). Sure, POG could go to the moon, but the market is not interested in that. They will look at what things are right now.

@CreamOn - Silvercorp is unlikely to be able to match PRU if a bidding war erupts, which is perhaps partially why the share price has fallen?

It's an interesting move, especially when I still feel PRU is going to go after a current producer. So this sort of move is... almost like a slight of hand to take peoples attention away from the main game.

Country risk seems to be becoming a real issue (it always has been, but... it's directly affecting all actors looking to make deals).
