Yes this. No samples isn't the worst case, no liner run is by far the worst case.

For me, as I posted a couple of weeks ago... I would have not worried about this side track and just used the funds instead to run the liner in the original well and wait to flow test it next year - would have already been fully funded for this imo. If we are in a position with this well where they are struggling again with the sampling tools (which I think is unlikely), then they need to get the liner down while the hole is in reasonable condition and forget the sampling. It just delays the "discovery" a few months.
