Gold Coast appears to be doing well.
The Christmas Ball is booked out and if you check out the Star website you will see 20+ choices of entertainment to choose from. It's not all about gambling.
There has been occasions where the accommodation has been booked out midweek with plenty of people walking around wearing lanyards so I assume they're attending the Gold Coast Conference and Exhibition Centre next door but staying the night at the Casino.
