The Options are issued to Directors as part of their remuneration package. The type of remuneration was discussed at the AGM, and again after the AGM with Directors.
With the matter having been raised, the Directors will need to consider their position regarding direct share ownership. After all, the Annual Report does state that "Directors are encouraged to own shares." (p22). There should be a change by the time of the 2024 AGM otherwise it is likely to be raised again. Either Directors comply with the "encouragement" or the encouragement is withdrawn.
