Cursory calculations using spodumene @6% requires at best a minimum of 8 tonnes spod to make 1 tonne of battery grade product. Include shipping and then conversion cost. At 11k then spod at 7-800/tonne is required to make some profit. The question then remains that for the Chinese to do it then who and where are they getting the supply from?
