Irrespective of personal religious beliefs including the nature of God, this is pretty much established historical fact about the early beliefs of Christians.

That's 100% correct, just like at the beginning. the writings we have come out as circumstance arouse at the time, starting by the whole NT, if one looks at all the letters in it, they were written to address certain issues. Same with much of the church writings, they were written to address issues against the faith, we would have absolutely nothing written in the NT nor early Christianity if no one ventured out of the teaching of the time and today much of the issues we have against it has mainly arose from history especially the last 500 years not to mention today the world is getting smaller, not only with religion but everything, everything that is different between cultures are becoming at logger heads

One would be extremely wise to sit back and examine one’s believed first, where they originate from, as that is the issue, most toady and past twist/ed scripture and historical facts to justify their position and personal believe, we see that often on here HC

What the earliest Christianity wrote of their believe, it’s also been repeatedly written or replicated throughout the last 2000 years, the CC still teaches the same from the time of the apostles, as you said it’s a historical fact irrespective on the take people put on it in order to justify their position
