Hydrogen will never be suitable for mainstream automotive use.
It's costly to produce, compress and store and transport.
It's highly flammable and explosive so not suitable for mining sites.
Whilst Petrol Tankers are involved in accidents and on rare occasions explode, typically they just burn intensly
Urban roads full of Hydrogen Tankers is just asking for trouble when involved in an accident.
Depot to Depot trucks, Long Haul trains and ships are viable for hydrogen. Not mainstream cars in massive numbers.
