    Gday schmunzel,
I reckon the very least they could (should?) do is to reduce some of the uncertainty for Oz AKE holders around that pesky cgt issue. It beggars belief imo that they haven’t done this, by getting the ATO to actually make a ruling on it.
Why does it take 9/10/12 months to do this?
Does the ATO see it as a “waste of time” considering it is “only” a hypothetical..? Who knows… clown world.

Anyway, just an irritating factor imo.

Btw, I haven’t gone searching for the info yet, but I wonder what Graves et al are set to gain from this “merger” should it go through.
How are their existing performance rights etc treated upon such a transaction?
iirc the GXY big dogs got their performance rights to vest upon the GXY-ORE deal, but apparently the AKE guys now have their board making a determination on such matters.
    Wonder how that will go?!
Anyone know off hand how Graves and co benefit from exisiting performance rights or any other things that may be providing huge incentive for them personally to push this deal?
No doubt Graves is licking his lips at the thought of our cash pile, as well as ratcheting up his salary/bonuses/etc for the new “bigger” company, of course.

I also wonder how much time key personnel have spent on this in the past circa 12 months, while other (company development) issues were competing for their attention….? I’m bracing for more SDV delays for example, as there isn’t as much plant activity in the satellite pics as what I’d expected by now…. Grrr.

Amazing they can spend so much time and money on something like this, over a significant period, whilst the shareholders are blissfully unaware…. Should be some sort of rule against that imo. / rant over

(Apologies in advance if the detail is the Kroll phone book, I haven’t brought myself to sift through that document in detail yet)

    tia
