I was speaking to a long/short fund manager today. They said they'd looked into WBT as a short idea earlier in the year but said the availability of shares to borrow was very low. He said once it hits the top 10, that would generally stop them considering adding them as a short since it can become a short squeeze trap if you need to exit quickly. Obviously there's some stocks that are shorted more (especially some of the lithium stocks), but we know that can change very quickly (eg. Lionsgate)... If their ability to borrow more stock is restricted, then there's not too much more damage they can do (compared to what they've already done).
