He said once it hits the top 10, that would generally stop them considering adding them as a short since it can become a short squeeze trap if you need to exit quickly. Obviously there's some stocks that are shorted more (especially some of the lithium stocks), but we know that can change very quickly (eg. Lionsgate)... If their ability to borrow more stock is restricted, then there's not too much more damage they can do (compared to what they've already done).

Watching the SP action today, I got the distinct feeling that someone, somewhere is monitoring the movements and dumping shares at strategic moments in order to kill any upward momentum. It doesn't happen every day, but it did today. The bots are always there, little buys and sells for 1,2 or 5 shares.
