Hmmm, all this nonsense about Battery Powered Jets??? Battery driven propellor aircraft, theoretically feasible like electric drones, but unlikely. But battery powered Jets, unless there has been an advancement in physics that's passed me by....you could, theoretically, compress the air but then you need to add fuel for the expansion and thrust. As an aside, going back to propellor aircraft would mean it would take at least 3 days to get to London, changing planes every few hour due to the charging cycle. Listen-up guys, a little thought and rigor to your posts would be well received.
