Got my second lot of application funds in yesterday to increase my stake in the shortfall facility.
The deadline has passed for a further extension of the closing date so the issue will close 5pm AEDT on Friday with the allocation announcement due by 12pm AEDT the following Friday.
It will be an interesting week waiting for news on how much of the issue was taken up and how much the sub-underwriters will be left with, if any.
On a separate note the Alberta government is talking about providing funding/incentives for up to 12% of the cost of carbon capture and sequestration (which would be on top of any Federal tax credits) which could make the capital cost for the ~200MW plants even cheaper thus improving the returns even more.
