I cannot make your link work and I see nothing on MP's website about this. If true they are way ahead of what they said in Q3cc. The tolling facility in China has a minimum they want on site before they even look at processing it. MP said it would be Q1 2024 before they could meet requirement. They did not expect anything back till very late in Q1 or early Q2
They made 10 T of pure separated NdPrO in Q3, tinny compared to Lynas but a major milestone. They expect this to go up 10 X in next 2 Qs and reach a max of 6KT by end of 2024, They have no announced plans to go beyond 6KT NdPr. (I have my doubts, HMD, but we will see if they achieve it in 2024) Right now they do not plan to compete directly with Lynas their plan is to use all their NdPr to make metals and magnets. The facility is in Texas and the Labs and offices are complete. now has 60 permanent staff on site manly engineers, admin. and SR factory people. Equipment is being delivered to factory portion of facility but nothing is set up. In the labs they are making Metals and Magnets. For next 6~18 months NdPr will be shipped to China for tolling into Metals and magnets to be sold by MP. I do not like this plan looking at Oxide, Metal and Magnet prices I think % margin is much lower than making Oxide.
