There are many other factors too - Affirm is well advanced in its 'term lending' - it has been skiving off large interest differentials for a long time, whereas ZIP is new to it and has a heavy interest disvount offer to try to convert its BNPL customers to rev credit. Affirm has a big fat Balance Sheet with significant shareholder equity, ZIPs is just an empty shell with a lot of debt and no equity. Making unprofitable sales will not make for an exciting business and growing a loan book is hardly a challenge.
