The solar buildout and glut of panels will eventually flow through to ESS. Have a look at the GW capacity installed. Looks like 413GW for 2023 and ramps to > 500GW from 2024 - 2030. It needs storage to back that up.
China has excess battery inventory apparently. I wonder where that maybe deployed. Sodium battery supply chain isn’t built out yet. Lithium will be the main ESS battery for a while yet.
