It sounds like the biggest risk we face is the potential eff up from imec changing their architecture from supporting 60nm to supporting 20nm. Or Ting getting hit by a bus.
I hope we don't have a replay of PL3 where Imec effed the technical specs of their platform, and miscommunicated it to us.
Luckily we now have the ear of the COO, several VPs in semi and 8 dedicated team staff. For 1.8 million Euros, I'd say Imec is running us at a loss this year. I wonder why?
So they are:
- improving their platform
- giving us 8 people
- giving us parallel concurrent PL runs (increasing our priority by an order of magnitude from 3 lots every two years to now two lots in a year)
All just to keep us at their facility. I wonder why?
Its obvious that Tings exuberant comments were that we WILL do it at 20nm, spoken with certainty.
We are not a filamentary bowl of soup.
