Chris Kenny speaks to protesters at ‘RecklessRenewables’ rally
Chris Kenny attended the ‘Reckless Renewables’ rally in Sydneyon Thursday to speak with protesters angry at Australia’s push to renewables.
Thousandsof farmers descended upon the CBD to rally against various renewable energyprojects on their land.
Theprotest took place while Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen jettedoff to Dubai for the COP28 climate summit.
One protester from Tamworth, Jocelyn Guy, held a photo of theLabor MP and claimed Mr Bowen is “misled” and “misguided” on renewable energy.
“Idon’t think people in the city realise the devastation that is happening in thecountryside,” she said.
Anotherprotester, Mary Morris, travelled from South Australia to speak out against theTwin Creek wind farm, claiming the “disgusting” structures would ruin BarossaValley.
Mr Kenny questioned why mainstream media didn’t attend therally.
“Theclimate extremists get maximum coverage, as do the anti-Israel bullies, butthese people are ignored,” he said.
