the mark downs are just a regular thing, lots of great product are half price at certain times, most of them. I always wait for my favourite liquid hand wash to be 50% off then I buy a few. The mark down is always temporary. Also the more expensive Magnum almond ice creams my mum loves, i wait till they are 50% reduced and regularly they are, and I snap up a few as well as the tubs of Connoisseur ice creams when they are 50% reduced. Same goes with mueslis but I've lately given up on breakfast cereals, just got bored - now my morning feast is toasted very dark rye bread with banana. I don't think that FFF reduced by 50% is a deal breaker for the commpany or reflective of any issues, most grocery products get that to keep customers happy & push the products off the shelves and it helps peeps decide to buy more and continue buying when price returns to full value, a regular marketing thing at Coles/Woolies ...
