Dec 4 (Reuters) - Origin Energy's (ORG) largest shareholder, AustralianSuper, on Monday welcomed the decision by investors of Australia's largest energy retailer to vote against the $10.6 billion buyout bid by a Brookfield-led consortium.
The deal was expected to fall through after the pension fund, which owns about 17% in Origin, signalled its intentions of rejecting the bid.
