regardless of the apparently justification of Israel waging this horrific war, the Israeli leadership has proven themselves to be as barbaric as Hamas.

much of the analysis I've been hearing/reading suggests Israel is trying to force Gazans across to border into Egypt as a means of at least removing the "problem" of Gaza. Would Israel allow Gazan people to return if they are forced to tear down the fence in order to escape death by missile? or would they simply take the land as the prize of war (cupidity).

there have even been some saying that Israel was not only aware of the impending incursion by Hamas, but even promoting this conflict.

"endless hatred" is an Orwellian strategy, which I think Netanyahu supports for his own political survival. hence it does have a point, albeit a most abhorrent self-serving interest.

my family were relatively safe, even though my father served as a gunner on a merchant ship supplying Aus troops in PNG and elsewhere in the Pacific. he was only 16 when he joined. but I've talked with several survivors of the Holocaust and heard the suffering of many, both Jews and other victims and also collaborators with the Nazis, in my early career. and who could watch the many docos that have been aired over decades without realising to horror that exceeded all in modern history.

there seems to be one saving grace from my observation: that Biden/Blinken are trying to calm and control Netanyahu from his excessive abuses of his war. when even America becomes so appalled by Israeli actions we know its gone way too far.

Netanyahu is a narcissist and his greed was fed by America because it suited them - now it is out of control

the trouble is that once a narcissist is unleashed their ability to convince themselves they are the honourable one and fully justified in their actions means they play out the game till everything is broken. There can be no winners when they lose any sense of proportion. That is what has happened
