The Staff union is going to have to get used to a new regime. There will be a lot of FUD and innuendo starting with todays salvo in the AFR.
I get the impression BHP had a lot of staff in excess post the Autonomous haulage project at Daunia. I hope WHC is able to hang onto the ones they need/want. A lot of BHP people are good and a lot are bad. All up there are usually too many, for starters.
