But back to the priority #1 - a new Independent Chairman ... what about Martin Perez de Solay (former MD & CEO of AllKem) ...could he be a propect. Hard to see KB giving up Patriot or Flano leaving WA (and he'd be more a CEO candidate) They can be hard to find and SYA now truly needs a true top gun in the Chair seat followed by a CEO. This is a turnaround story IMO ... and I'll take your bet that by 2024 AGM you will have at least one new director and chairperson.
I agree - what PLL does outside of the JV isn't SYA's problem - unless PLL can not fulfil its commitments to SYQ ... and that hasn't been the case nor does it look likely to happen. SYQ (and ultimately SYA) are bound to honor the agreement that they happily signed off on in 2021 ... else you really got problems and that's a big big red flag.
