News: ORG Deals of the day-Mergers and acquisitions

Dec 4 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1530 GMT on Monday:

		** Eli Lilly  LLY.N  again extended its deadline for 
Point Biopharma Global  PNT.O  shareholders to sell their shares 

to the drugmaker, following low participation amid investor concerns that the offer price was low.

		** Shares of Hawaiian Holdings  HA.O , the parent of 
Hawaiian Airlines, nearly tripled in premarket trade after 

Alaska Air Group ALK.N agreed to acquire it for $1.9 billion, including debt.

		** Roche  ROG.S  agreed to take over unlisted obesity 
drug developer Carmot Therapeutics  CRMO.O  for $2.7 billion 

upfront, joining a list of contestants seeking to challenge the dominant makers of weight-loss drugs Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly.

		** Saudi Arabia's PIF sovereign wealth fund will buy a 
49% stake in luxury hotel group Rocco Forte Hotels and help to 

support its expansion, the owner of Britain's Balmoral hotel said.

** Aspen Pharmacare APNJ.J is expanding further into China through a deal to buy the Chinese business of Swiss group Sandoz SDZ.S for up to 92.6 million euros ($100.6 million), the South African company said.

** Japan's Cosmo Energy 5021.T said it took a positive view on a stake purchase by gas company Iwatani Corp 8088.T .

** Brookfield will walk away from Origin Energy (ORG) , a source familiar with the matter said, after shareholders in Australia's largest power retailer rejected a $10.6 billion takeover bid by a consortium led by the asset manager.
