Logging jobs can sometimes get pulled early if a well is close to planned TD and a downhole tool failure has triggered the need for a trip. If enough of the reservoir is opened up and priority is getting a sample from same that would provide an extra reason for an early logging job.
The use of the term "intermediate logging" suggests they plan to drill on after the logging job and conduct another logging job at 3400m.
