You're scenarios have always been the case after such an aggressive rise over the past month.
I'd imagine the sophs wouldn't have dropped so much coin willingly without due diligence. I would believe there would have been many a discussion with David regarding geology, probabilities of success etc. In all likelihood he would have at least an idea of what brought up out of the ground by now, even though the assays may not be ready or maybe they are and his holding off.
