New IRA guidelines published on 1st Dec will, starting from 2024, limit the US consumers to claim additional tax credits if the EV's battery components are processed or manufactured in China; encouraging more EV manufacturers to source their battery supply chain from outside of China if they are to leverage US EV market.
A good move in my view.
