    Hey Woody,

One of the hurdles holding VRB's back is lack of affordable supply of Vanadium.

VRB's require a LOT of vanadium, any major uptake would considerably move the market in vanadium and make VRB's un competitive.

Sumitomo have an awesome VRB product, from what I gather a few years ago they paused commercialisation due to the thin vanadium market.

If they could lock in a vanadium supply at a reasonable cost this would put them in the drivers seat for VRB commercialisation.

I can't think of a better way to lock in a supply of Vanadium that to co-invest in a producer to sure up the supply at a known cost.

If only they could do a deal with the owners of the worlds biggest Vanadium deposit?
