Every Tom, Dick and Harry plan to produce Mn battery materials, E25 can't make money producing Mn ore, therefore E25 will also be the most expensive HPMSM producer too.
A third high-purity manganese sulfate monohydrate (HPMSM) plant owned by Giyana Metals is planned for South Africa, joining MMC. Jupiter Mines also plans its own HPMSM plant using Tshipi manganese ore. All companies are looking for South Africa IDC financing even though only Giyana’s demonstration plant will be built in the country. Giyani is a battery metal development company focused on becoming one of Africa's first low-carbon producers of high-purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM). Once developed, Giyani is predicted to be one of the largest producers of battery-grade manganese.
