Also we see Chinese Li futures markets increasing margin requirements 4x, apparently admitting something is broken there. Of course, as other have pointed out, that market was always suspect, as there is little incentive for serious buyers to use these contracts to take physical delivery because of uncertainty / variability in the quality of Chinese lithium chemicals.
